There is a beautiful harmony between the grape varieties planted, and Domaine Marcel Deiss has made this its speciality, producing wines of a balance and complexity rarely equalled in Alsace. The vineyard comprises around 220 plots. The vines are around twenty years old on average and the grapes are harvested by hand. Since 1997, Domaine Marcel Deiss has been cultivated using certified biodynamic methods and produces around 130,000 bottles a year. The flagship wines of Domaine Marcel Deiss are Alsace Grand Cru Altenberg de Bergheim, Alsace Grand Cru Schonenbourg and Alsace Grand Cru Mambourg, not forgetting Alsace Burlenberg, one of Alsace's finest red wines. This is a rather wild wine with notes of red fruit. Cuvée Alscace Langenberg is a dry, highly aromatic wine with notes of citrus fruit and white flowers. You can find other estates in the Alsace and Alsace Grand Cru appellations, such as Domaine Agathe Bursin, Albert Boxler, Albert Mann, André Thomas, Bott Geyl, Ostertag, Schlumberger, Trapet, Trimbach, Weinbach and Zind Humbrecht, at Vins & Millésimes, where you can buy the best bottles of wine and grands crus online.
