A legendary Burgundy estate with a reputation for excellence.
The wines of Domaine Leroy
Lalou Bize Leroy is a living legend. Her vision of Burgundy winegrowing is unparalleled. Since 1988, she has chosen to cultivate her different climats biodynamically. She is a fervent advocate of low yields in the vineyard and whole harvests during vinification. These three elements are the key to the success of this exceptional winemaker, respected by the critics. Now at the head of 22 hectares - 18 of them in red Burgundy - she owns no fewer than 9 grands crus, all in the Côte de Nuits except for her Corton Charlemagne and Corton Renardes, which are in the Côte de Beaune. These include Richebourg, Romanée Saint Vivant, Musigny and Chambertin. A number of top-quality Premier Crus belong to Domaine Leroy in the Vosne-Romanée appellation: Aux Brûlés and Les Beaux-Monts.
