Domaine Jobard Rémi offers two red wines: a Volnay and a Monthélie. The Volnay 1er cru Santenots has a full bouquet of red berries, violets and cinnamon, and is taut and flattering on the palate, with lovely, well-coated tannins. Elegant and fine, it was awarded a tasting note of 16/20 for the 2009 vintage by the RVF. It will keep for 5 to 10 years in the cellar. Monthélie 1er cru Champs Fulliots is silky and fruity and will improve in the cellar for 3 to 5 years. The best red vintages are: 2015, 2012, 2010, 2009, 2005 and 2002. As for the white wines, the Meursault 1er cru Genevrières is both enveloping and taut on the palate, with a superb mineral finish that should be decanted (17/20 in 2012 by Bettane et Desseauve). Rémi Jobard's Meursault Charmes 1er cru is energetic and punchy, with a nutty finish, rated 16/20 in 2011 by Bettane et Desseauve. The Meursault 1er cru Poruzots is mineral on the nose and palate, rated 16/20 in 2012 by Bettane et Desseauve. These wines will keep for 6 to 12 years. Remi Jobard's Meursault Narvaux is full-bodied with a noisy tension. It will keep for 5 to 8 years, as will Meursault Sous la Velle, Meursault Chevalières and Meursault En Luraule. The best white vintages are: 2014, 2012, 2010, 2008, 2005 and 2002. Wine-lovers will appreciate the wines of Domaine Jobard Rémy, which have a good reputation for ageing well.
