This renowned estate in the Vouvray appellation, located in the Loire Valley, was built up in less than 30 years by Noël Pinguet. His pragmatic approach to biodynamic viticulture has made a major contribution to this success. The Domaine Huet was one of the forerunners of biodynamic viticulture in France, with Noël Pinguet introducing the first practices as early as 1988.

Since 2012, Noël Pinguet has no longer been part of the estate. Founded in 1928 by Victor Huet and his son Gaston, the estate has now passed into the hands of the Hwang family. It was bought by Anthony Hwang in 2004. Sarah, the family's daughter, manages the 35 hectares devoted entirely to white wines made from the white Chenin grape variety. The vineyard is planted in three parcels: Haut-Lieu, Mont and Clos du Bourg. The estate produces around 120,000 bottles a year. The diversity of the soils is reflected in the diversity of the cuvées. The Clos du Bourg, with its shallow soil, produces structured, powerful wines. The Haut-Lieu, on the other hand, has deep soil that gives life to supple wines. Finally, Le Mont, with its clay-silica soil on the banks of the Loire, produces subtle, complex and elegant wines. Whatever the type of wine (still or sparkling), the vintages are always of the highest quality, thanks to the excellence of the terroirs. The grapes are harvested by hand.The grapes are picked in successive passes, ensuring that the "Pourriture Noble" grapes are harvested in such a way as to ensure that the grapes are perfectly ripe and of the highest quality. The three crus are vinified separately and each cuvée is kept for six months until bottling in April. Le Clos de Bourg moelleux has a golden hue and a delicious bouquet of candied apples and pears. On the palate, there are hints of ginger on the finish. Le Mont Moelleux is an aromatically complex, energetic cuvée, with lovely bitters on the palate. Another Domaine Huet cuvée, Le Haut-Lieu demi-sec, has a lovely golden colour and a nose of dried fruit and grilled almonds. It is well-balanced and fine on the palate, with hints of stone fruit. The estate's legendary vintages include 1947, 1959, 1989, 1990 and 1997.
