A great Cornas winemaker in a 'natural' style
The wines of Thierry Allemand : purchase at the best price !
Thierry Allemand began his winegrowing career looking after the vines of another winegrower, Robert Michel. Then he gradually bought plots that he looked after in parallel at the beginning. He now manages 5 hectares in Cornas. In particular, he owns plots at Les Chaillots and Reynard, which gave their names to the eponymous cuvées. He produces a sulphur-free cuvée from the latter. The other wines benefit from very little sulphur added at bottling. Thierry Allemand does not claim to be an organic wine-maker, but follows the precepts of organic farming by treating his vines only with sulphur and copper. The wines are matured in barrels of several wines for 24 months or less.
