The wines of Domaine de Pierre Gaillard : purchase at the best price !
Pierre Gaillard began his career as an independent winegrower in the early 1980s when he bought Clos de Cuminaille in the commune of Malleval. Nearly 35 years later, he now manages 77 hectares, 25 of which are in the Rhône. The rest is divided between Banyuls and Faugères. His Rhône whites are matured for around 7 months. The range is vast. It includes Condrieu, Côtes-du-Rhône, Saint-Joseph and Vins de Pays des Collines Rhodaniennes. The reds are more ambitiously matured for up to 18 months in 100% new oak. Three Saint-Josephs, two Côte-Rôtie, one Crozes-Hermitage, one Cornas and some Vins de Pays des Collines Rhodaniennes are aged in new oak.
