Producing whites of high precision and depth, red with consistent quality, the Boisson Estate (Anne, Pierre and Bernard) in Meursault has been gaining higher and higher reputation over these 4 last vintages thanks to the arrival of Pierre at the winemaking management. His wines are inspired by and reminds the Coche-Dury style...
The estate makes an enormous work in the vineyard: no chemical fertilizers, an important tilling soil, low yields, and look for a reasonable grape maturity to preserve a great "tension". The work in the cellar is also very important: very long aging with a limited proportion of new barrels, no filtering... It allows the estate to express in its wines the quality of their terroir and very old vines.
The wines are aged for a long time (between 15 and 21 months) and new oak is rarely used, except perhaps for the estate's Meursault wines. The Meursault Les Grands Charrons and Chevalières and the Meursault 1er cru Genevrières are the estate's most illustrious parcels.
