Frederic Savart follows principles similar to organic farming and has chosen to make low-dose cuvees, nuanced champagnes carried by a vinous structure. We find in his champagne, of high quality, a beautiful expression of nature. Savart champagnes have 8 cuvees: L'Ouverture, Le Mont des Chretiens, Mont Benoit, L'Accomplie, Les Noues, L'Expression Nature, L'Expression Rose Nature, and Bulle de Rose. The opening wine is a Premier Cru champagne exclusively harvested at Ecueil and Villiers-aux-Noeuds. The grape variety is 100% Pinot Noir, and this no vintage Brut has a perfect dosage. It reveals very nice fruity notes while on the palate it offers remarkable complexity. The Achievement is 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, and half of the wines are aged in oak barrels. On the nose, exotic fruits and sweet spices are the main dominants of this wine whose mouth is silky and elegant.

It is a great success and the release is limited to 8000 bottles. The Mont Blanc white Champagne cuvee, mostly from great Pinot Noirs, is one of the jewels on the estate's range, and its ageing in demi-muids (600 liter barrels) supports its vinosity to make it a great table wine. Finally, Frederic Savart s Bulle de Rosé  Champagne is a gourmet cuvee, full of power and complexity, matured in oak barrels to increase its complexity. The Pinot Noir dominates with more than 80% supplemented by the Chardonnay grape variety. The robe is rose petal and on the nose we can distinguish harmonious notes of stewed red berries. On the palate, it is a Champagne of superb structure, supported by a vinous touch, but always embellished with a pleasant fruity persistence. A powerful champagne, but which has retained its elegant style. The range of Champagnes from the Frederic Savart estate is highly recommendable.
