Appellation Contrôlée du Jura, named after the village in the south of the region where its wine is produced. Small in size, but big in terms of the reputation of its Vin Jaune, produced exclusively from the Savagnin grape variety, and with a higher alcohol content than the other Jura appellations, 12° instead of 11.5°. The white wine is kept for 6 years and 3 months in barrels, unoaked, which are gradually covered with a veil of yeast, in the Xérez style. The result is a golden wine, with aromas of walnut and curry, bottled in 62 cl bottles, the clavelin, which has great ageing potential and goes perfectly with poularde de Bresse or comté cheese. The main producers are Jean Macle, Berthet-Bondet, Philippe Butin and Baud Père et Fils.
