Located in Chablis, the Moreau Naudet estate covers 22.5 hectares planted exclusively with Chardonnay grapes. The vines are on average around thirty years old, and are carefully tended without insecticide or anti-rot treatments. Harvesting is both manual and mechanical. The Moreau Naudet grapes are harvested when perfectly ripe. The wine is matured over a long period in vats, barrels and demi-muids, with light filtration, giving Moreau Naudet wines a beautiful complexity and a fine texture. Domaine Moreau Naudet produces wines from the Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru Forêt, Chablis 1er Cru Montmains, Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons and Petit Chablis appellations, as well as Chablis Grand Cru. The Chablis 1er Cru Forêt has dense, spicy flavours with good ageing potential; the Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons is full of energy; and the Chablis 1er Cru Montmains offers intense, high-quality bitters.
