The Antoine Jobard estate is located in Meursault, in the heart of the legendary Cote de Beaune, in Burgundy. This family property extends over 6.5 ha, and it resulted from a division in 1971 of the Pierre Jobard estate between his 2 sons (Charles and François). Then in 2007, François' son (Antoine) succeeded his father, with whom he had worked for many years, however. The methods have been modernised, but the priorities remain unchanged, releasing great white wines from Burgundy to keep, produced from a perfect quality of grapes, which are true sincere reflections of the Meursault terroir.

By working the soil, the vines are cultivated without weedkillers or chemicals. There are many renowned terroirs in the range of Meursault wines offered by the Antoine Jobard estate: Meursault Blagny, Meursault En la Barre, Meursault Les Tillets, Meursault 1er cru Les Charmes, Meursault 1er cru Poruzots and Meursault 1er cru Genevrières.

Antoine Jobard wines pleads for a faithful, elegant and racy restitution of the different terroirs of Meursault. The wine is aged in two stages: first 12 months in barrels on the lees with a small percentage of new wood (15%), so as not to cover the aromas of the wines; then for 6 to 7 months, in tanks. The wines are remarkable for precision, in a complex and chiseled style, of a timeless classicism. Of course, white Meursault wines have significant development potential and do not lose freshness. If certain vintages require a little time to fully open, we cannot miss these highly racy expressions of qualitative Chardonnay.

En La Barre can appear tense and austere in its youth, but endowed with an impressive richness. The Meursault 1er cru Poruzots is a dense and powerful wine, distinguished, imperatively to let age 5 to 10 years, in order to be able to better benefit from its complexity.

 Meursault 1er cru les Charmes is a voluminous, intense wine, balanced by juicy fruit. It has also a good ageing potential. Last but not least, the Meursault 1er cru Genevrières represents the archetype of the great Meursault, very fine, distinguished, with endless persistence. It is one of the best wines in the designation and represents a safe bet for lovers of great white Burgundy. Considering the ageing potential, between 7 to 12 years, such wine should not be consumed too young .The Antoine Jobard estate produces only 30,000 bt per year, international demand is very strong which will push amateurs to obtain the precious Meursault Antoine Jobard.
