In the commune of Puligny, in the Côte de Beaune, this Grand Cru, a neighbour of Montrachet, extends over 7.36 hectares on a thin, stony soil of marl and limestone, at an altitude of around 270 metres. Facing south-east, this cru produces complex, aromatic, elegant wines made from Chardonnay, although they are not as rich as those from Montrachet. Louis Latour and Louis Jadot's Chevalier-Montrachet Les Demoiselles is one of the best expressions of this.
