Georges Noellat was Charles Noellat's nephew. Charles Noellat's vines contributed to the creation of the Jean Jacques Confuron and Hudelot Noellat estates, as well as the Domaine Leroy estate. From 1990 to 2010, the rest of the vineyard was rented to Louis Jadot and Joseph Drouhin. In 2011, Maxime Cheurlin (aged 20 at that time), Mme Noellat's grandson, took over the management of the Domaine Noellat estate and all the vineyards that its made of. The estate covers many Grands Crus appellations, such as Echezeaux, Grands Echezeaux, as well as 6 Premiers Crus: Chambolle Musigny premier cru Feusselottes, 2 Nuits Saint Georges  premier cru (Boudots and Cras), 3 Vosne Romanee premier cru (Beaux Monts, Chaumes, Petits Monts) and the following villages: Gevrey Chambertin en Champs, Nuits Saint Georges, Vosne Romanee, Bourgogne Pinot Noir, and a red Hautes Côtes de Nuits.

The Grands Echezeaux 2014 is a powerful wine, more full-bodied than the Echezeaux although the Echezeaux is a bit fresher. Choosing between these two wines won't be easy. It got the very good mark of 18/20 from Bettane & Desseauve. The cuvée Echezeaux 2014, has a nice and freshness to it. It was made partly from whole bunches, as they were picked during the harvest in the very old vineyards. It's a really intense wine (18/20 from Bettane & Desseauve). The cuvee Vosne Romanee Premier Cru les Beaux Monts 2014 is a powerful wine among the premiers crus of the Domaine Georges Noellat. It is the most complete and intense wine from Georges Noellat estate, with a great and long finish (17.5/20 B&D). The cuvee Vosne Romanee premier Cru les Chaumes 2014 has a wonderful texture still with finesse. This wine is remarkably intense. The usual salinity of the wines from the estate is enhanced in this one (17/20 B&D). The Vosne Romanée Premier Cru les Petits Monts 2014 has a fine, distinguished length, enhanced by mineral notes (17/20 B&D). Finally, the famous Nuits Saint Georges Premier Cru aux Boudots 2014 is fuller and smoother than the first growths of Vosne Romanee, with an elegant and salty finish that is common to the wines from Domaine Georges Noellat (17/20 B&D). As for the second wines of the estate that are classified as Nuits St Georges villages and Vosne Romanee villages, the Vosne Romanee 2012 has a great aromatic complexity thanks to a blend of some high plots (like Champ Perdrix), some middle plots (Haute  Maizieres ) and some low plots (Pré de la Folie). The result of that blend makes a rich, elegant and very renowned wine (16.5/20 B&D). In terms of ageing, these two cuvees can be kept from 7 to 10 years. He has been able to show, with his first vintages, the talent required to put the estate back at the forefront, with high quality wines as reflected in their prices.
