One of Emmanuel Raynaud's stars
The wines of Château de Fonsalette
Owned by the Reynaud family since 1945, Château de Fonsalette covers around ten hectares of vines, woods and Olive groves. It was taken over by Emmanuel in 1997 following the sudden death of his uncle Jacques, who had previously run the estate. Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Clairette and Marsanne are grown here. These grapes are used to make Côtes-du-Rhône appellation wines - both white and red - which are reminiscent of the finesse of their big brothers at Château Rayas (also owned by the Reynaud family). Although made from different terroirs and blends, they are all vinified in the same place by the same team.
