Emmanuel Reynaud took over the running of Châteaux Rayas and des Tours from his late uncle Jacques in 1997. The terroirs of the two estates are very different. At Château des Tours, he makes wines in the Vacqueyras, Côtes-du-Rhône, Vin de Pays du Vaucluse and even a Vin de Table called Parisy on almost 40 hectares. Parisy is a rosé whose colour is reminiscent of Clairet from Bordeaux, with aromas of rose. The red Côtes-du-Rhône and Vin de Pays du Vaucluse are full-bodied wines that will appeal to fans of sunny wines. Vacqueyras needs more time to mature, but also to bring out its complexity.
