Domaine Bart is located in Marsannay, near Dijon in Burgundy, and comprises 21 ha of vineyards, 18 ha of which are planted with red grapes. The original Domaine André Bart comprised just 6 hectares. The inheritance in 1985 of part of the vines of the former Domaine Clair-Daü (shared between the estates of Bruno Clair, Martin Bart (Bruno Clair's cousin) and Fougeray de Beauclair) completed the range in AOC Marsannay and for the 2 Grands Crus, Bonnes Mares and Chambertin Clos de Bèze. Martin Bart and his sister Odile have been running the Bart estate since 1987, producing wines of a rather classic style.

We offer a wide range of white wines, red wines and rosé wines in the Marsannay appellations (Les Ouzeloy, Les Longeroies, Les Champs Salomon, Les Clos du Roy, Les Echézots, Les Finottes, Les Grandes Vignes, La Montagne, Les Favières), and red wines from Fixin (1er Cru Les Hervelets), Bonnes-Mares and Chambertin Clos de Bèze en Grands Crus, as well as Chambolle Musigny (1er Cru Les Véroilles) and Santenay (En Bievau). Since 2010, Domaine Bart's wines seem to have made further progress in terms of quality and frankness of expression. It is likely that the addition of a new sorting table will enable the quality and ripeness of the grapes to be improved through even more meticulous sorting.  

 The Bart Marsannay reds are very good, like Au Champ-Salomon, the archetype of a very pretty pinot noir, with notes of morello cherry, or Les Longeroies, with its fine depth, fruity but tannic, which will have to wait a little. Bart Marsannay Clos du Roy is very elegant and refined, with a lovely freshness and a juicy, almost sanguine length. The Bart Fixin 1er cru Les Hervelets is firmer but delivers magnificent notes of spice and cherry pit; it will make a great bottle after 5 years' cellaring. The Bart Bonnes Mares and Chambertin Clos de Bèze Bart are excellent and refined. With vintages such as 2010, 2015 and 2016, they will give great pleasure to the lucky owners of such bottles. The quality/price/pleasure ratio is excellent, making Domaine Bart wines a must-have for lovers of great red Burgundy at a reasonable price.
