The history of Maison Salon dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, when Eugène-Aimé Salon began to produce a few bottles of Champagne for his own consumption and that of his friends, becoming the precursor of Blanc de Blancs. In view of its success, Salon officially established itself on the market in 1920, and it was in 1928 that the decision was taken to produce only vintage Champagnes for the major years: this was the beginning of the Salon legend. Connoisseurs await only the release of the next vintage of this grand cru champagne, which has been in the cellar for at least ten years. These cuvées are unique, as much for their identity as for the finesse, elegance and purity they reveal during tasting. When Eugène-Aimé Salon died, his ideas, creativity and precision were carried on by the generations that followed him, offering the purest, most hedonistic expression of the Côte des Blancs. Since 1988, the House of Salon has joined forces with the House of Delamotte, under the management of the Laurent Perrier Group, which is perpetuating the uniqueness of this great Champagne that can be found on every Michelin-starred table.
