History of the Estate

Dominique Lafon, the proprietor of the iconic and highly regarded Domaine des Comtes Lafon, has embarked on a solo venture!

In 2007, he launched his own négociant business under his own name.

Vines and Winemaking

The Dominique Lafon estate now spans 4.5 hectares of vineyards (Chardonnay for whites and Pinot Noir for reds) located on the Côte de Beaune, with appellations in Burgundy, Volnay, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Pernand-Vergelesses, and Beaune.

In both colours, the selection of grapes is meticulous and impeccable! Dominique Lafon imprints his distinctive style on these new wines, showcasing his exceptional winemaking skills by bringing out the best in the terroirs. He proves this in every cuvée!

The Cuvées

The whites are precise, refined, and exceptionally enjoyable, with incredible length on the palate. The reds are deep, ethereal, and elegant!

He produces two cuvées in Bourgogne (red and white) as well as several village wines (Volnay, Pernand-Vergelesses, Meursault) and several Premier Crus.
